Michael MillsMichael has been a specialist in family law since 1994. He is also a member of the Resolution (formally Solicitors Family Law Association), which is a body committed to ensuring that family cases are conducted with minimum animosity.
Michael qualified in 1981 having completed his training with the Isle of Wight Council. He then practiced in Cowes and Newport before moving to the mainland for work, where he became a partner and head of family law in a sizeable Portsmouth firm. He returned to Cowes in February 2001 and started the Family Law Practice in September 2002.
Michael is a keen yachtsman, mooring his boat in Cowes and work commitments permitting competes in races in and around the Solent. When not on the water his time is taken between his family, playing squash and being a member of Cowes Round Table of which he has recently been Chairman.
Shirley CundallShirley has worked in law since 1974, mainly in the northwest of England. She undertook the Institute of Legal Executives qualification when she moved to the Isle of Wight and gained her Fellowship in 2005.
Shirley has worked in various branches of law during her time on the mainland but worked in family law since moving here in 1996.
Shirley joined the Family Law Practice in 2004.Shirley likes to spend most of her time with her family but has lots of interests and is a season ticket holder for the Isle of Wight Raiders Ice Hockey team.
